The Tribute Project (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a ministry of Polly Lunetto Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We care deeply about the people who visit our website and reach out to us — many of whom come carrying grief, loss, or a tender story. Protecting the trust and privacy of everyone who contacts us is part of how we honor that. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through tributeproject.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you fill out a form on our site, we collect the information you choose to provide. This may include:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and mailing or shipping address
  • Details you share when requesting to host our Memorial Art Exhibit, booking a speaking engagement, or completing the Tribute Project Participation Agreement (including event information and, where you choose to provide it, information about your story or your child)
  • Messages, prayer requests, or questions you send us through our contact forms or live chat
  • Your email address and name when you subscribe to our newsletter

Donations. Gifts made through our website are processed by our third-party giving provider (Tithe.ly). Your payment card details are entered directly with that provider and are not collected or stored on our website. We may receive confirmation of a donation, such as your name, email, and gift amount, for our records and acknowledgment.

Live chat. If you use the chat feature on our site (powered by Tawk.to), we collect the name, email, and messages you provide, along with the transcript of the conversation, so we can respond and follow up with you.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit us our systems and service providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site. We use this to understand how the site is used, keep it secure, and improve it. This is described further under “Cookies and Analytics” below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions, prayer requests, and messages
  • Process and coordinate exhibit hosting requests, event bookings, and participation in the Tribute Project
  • Send you our newsletter and ministry updates, if you have asked to receive them
  • Acknowledge and keep records of donations
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website
  • Comply with our legal and accounting obligations as a nonprofit organization

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only in these limited situations:

  • Trusted service providers. We use reputable companies to help us run the ministry — for example, our website host, our email and newsletter tools (MailPoet and Mailchimp), our donation processor (Tithe.ly), our live-chat provider (Tawk.to), our website analytics (Google Analytics), and website security services. These providers may process your information only to perform services for us.
  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the ministry, our visitors, or others.
  • With your consent. We will share information in other ways only if you ask us to or give us permission.

4. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies — small files stored on your device — to help the site function, remember your preferences, enable the chat feature, and measure how the site is used through analytics tools such as Google Analytics. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent; some parts of the site may not work as smoothly if you do.

5. Email and Newsletter Choices

If you subscribe to our newsletter, every email we send includes an “unsubscribe” link at the bottom. You may opt out at any time, and we will honor your request promptly. You can also contact us directly to be removed from our list.

6. How We Protect and Retain Your Information

We take reasonable measures — including a secure (HTTPS) connection and website security safeguards — to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required for our records and legal obligations, and then dispose of it responsibly.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You may, at any time:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct or update your information
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
  • Unsubscribe from our newsletter or ask not to be contacted

To make any of these requests, please contact us using the details below. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights regarding your personal information under California law, and we will honor those rights; we do not sell your personal information.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Links to Other Websites

Our site may link to other websites — such as our giving page, podcast, social media, or partner ministries. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Effective date” above. We encourage you to review it periodically.
